Thrill oh, thrill Pulpwood Queen and New York Times Bestselling Author Paula Mclain is back and CONFIRMED for our 2019 Pulpwood Queen Girlfriend Weekend Author Extravaganza Book Club Convention, January 17 – 19, 2019 at The Jefferson Tourism & Transportation Convention Center in historic Jefferson, Texas.  We are so excited as everybody loved her book “The Paris Wife”.

Also, I was very fortunate to have Paula McLain come and visit my former Beauty and the Book Shop in Jefferson, Texas to film for an episode of my book club talk show, The Beauty and the Book Show to talk about “The Paris Wife”.  Here is that episode:

Venue Change for 2019 Pulpwood Queen Girlfriend Weekend

Kathy L. Murphy, founder of the Pulpwood Queens and Timber Guys Reading Nation book club, has announced a change of venue for the 2019 Pulpwood QueenGirlfriend Weekend Author Extravaganza. The annual book club convention has been moved from Nacogdoches, Tex., to the Jefferson Tourism & Transportation Convention Center in historic Jefferson and will take place January 17-19.

“We have gone back to our roots where everything began with my former Beauty and the Book and the founding of my Pulpwood Queens of East Texas Book Club in 2000,” Murphy said.
