The Pulpwood Queens of East Texas Charter chapter
Jefferson, Texas – The Pulpwood Queens are pleased to announce the following will be our Official Pulpwood Queen Book Club Selections for 2019. Our motto is “where Tiaras are mandatory and reading our good books is the ONLY RULE!” So you are to read the Book of the Month for the month and after that the Bonus Books of the month. If you are a NEW chapter you begin with my book, “The Pulpwood Queens’ Tiara Wearing, Book Sharing Guide to Life” and I will be happy to call into your very first Pulpwood Queen Book Club meeting or Facetime with your group, after that, you begin with the book of the next month. If you have any questions, please contact me, Kathy L. Murphy, the founder at email: thepulpwoodqueen@gmail.com or go to our website to read all about our book club with videos, photos, and more!
2019 Official Pulpwood Queen and Timber Guy Book Club Selections
For all NEW members, the first book you are to read is The Pulpwood Queens’ Tiara Wearing, Book Sharing Guide to Life by Kathy L. Murphy as it explains everything you need to know on why, how, where, and when the book club started. Then you just jump in on the next months read and very important that you read the BOOK OF THE MONTH to discuss. All the others are for the voracious readers like me, your founder who just cannot get enough to read. If you have not read my book, please do as it truly explains everything.
Important to know and follow: Our motto is “where TIARAS are MANDATORY and Reading our OFFICIAL Book of the Month is the ONLY RULE!” Author and publishers expect you to do so and also to arrange for a teleconference, Skype, or Facetime for that month. As far as I know, we are the ONLY book club that gives you truly this kind of access to authors then you get to meet them all in person and hear them speak at our annual conference, all of them. This is what gives them a true boost in sales.
Our sole purpose is to promote authors, books, literacy, reading and for each chapter to take on a literacy project and report to Kathy L. Murphy at thepulpwoodqueen@gmail.com to be considered to be recognized for your literary achievements. I do not know always if you do not tell me as I have now helped start 765 chapters with more in the works.
Be respectful of our authors, if you invite them in either offer them an honorarium for their travel and lodging and/or purchase their books. They are taking time off of their work and their busy schedules and often have to arrange for child or pet care. This is their livelihood.
