Registration opens for Girlfriend Weekend at the Jefferson Tourism & Convention Center located just over the railroad tracks toward the train ride to pick up your Pulpwood Queen pre-paid packets and to purchase individual tickets for events if any are still left.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY – Day Panels
All day Author Panels featuring each hour, authors who are interviewed followed by autograph time. All authors featured after their panel will immediately go to AUTHOR AUTOGRAPH TABLE at the VENDOR/BOOKSTORE table. To ensure you get your books signed, go immediately to the AUTHOR AUTOGRAPH TABLES after they speak, pre-purchased books only and be ready to have your book/books signed.
MURDER BY THE BOOK of Houston, Texas will provide the BOOKSTORE for all the author books for the event. Authors also will be available to sign books throughout the weekend but do note some will only be able to sign after their panel, which will be announced.
Also, we will have VENDORS, (open 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.), Friday and Saturday that will feature the BEST of the BEST SHOWCASED for our book-loving attendees.
AN AUTHOR SILENT AUCTION will be held with showcased items signed and donated by all our authors. All proceeds from the SILENT AUCTION will go to THE PAT CONROY LITERARY CENTER, (The Pulpwood Queens Book Club endorses this literacy project as our charity of choice). All authors featured donate a signed object that ties in with their book for this literary promoting fundraiser. Be PRESENT and PREPARED to pay for the item you bid on for the Silent Auction by cash or check payable to Beauty and the Book Saturday afternoon.
